We sometimes refer to matcha tea as the elevated version of green tea. Here’s how you can make it at home easily.
Matcha Lattes
Obsessed with café-style iced matcha latte? Here’s how to make your own at home.
Recipe: 3 tsp matcha powder, 50ml hot water, 150ml milk, 1 tsp brown sugar.
Sift matcha into a bowl to break up any existing clumps. In the same bowl, add in the sugar and hot water.
Separately, pour your choice of milk into a glass and add ice cubes. Finally, pour your finished matcha shot into the glass of milk.
Best enjoyed cold and with our Superior Blend Matcha.
Matcha "Americano"
The perfect drink to ease yourself into enjoying straight matcha.
Recipe: 1 tsp matcha, 350ml hot water (80°C)
First, mix matcha with 60ml of water. Once thoroughly mixed, add in the remaining water. You may adjust the amount of water added to taste.
Best enjoyed as a hot beverage, with our favorite Chiran Single-Origin Matcha.
Matcha Coconut Water
For a naturally sweet yet refreshing take on matcha lattes, try this delightful combination of coconut water with matcha.
Recipe: 2 tsp matcha powder, 60ml water, 230ml coconut water
In a bowl, mix matcha with water to make a matcha shot.
In a separate cup, pour in the coconut water. Then, pour your matcha shot into the coconut water.
Best enjoyed cold and with our Superior Blend Matcha.
